National unity, patriotic fervor mark Qatari National Day celebrations

The Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, His Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and other dignitaries attended the national day parade as Qatar celebrated the glorious occasion with an awesome display of national unity and military might.

The event that followed strict Covid-19 protocols was also attended by several dignitaries and special invitees.

The healthcare warriors who are at the forefront of the fight against Covid- 19,  were honored on the occasion as they marched ahead of the military parade and they were applauded by the Emir as well as the Father Emir. 

Patriotic fervour was evident all through the parade and the event lasted  an hour with only invited guests in attendance.

The entire area of the event at Corniche was blanketed in maroon with a large flower bed in the shape and colors of the national flag and the whole place decorated with flowers. The army, navy, and the air force mesmerized the spectators.

Once the parade was over, the Emir walked along the Corniche street and interacted  with those in attendance by  waving  to them.
