Khamenei’s office denies rumors about his health

An official close to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has denied rumours on social media about the top authority’s deteriorating health, the semi official Fars news agency reported on Monday.
Newsweek said on Saturday that Khamenei has transferred his powers to his son Mojtaba Khamenei due to health concerns.
Khamenei can’t transfer his powers to his son or anyone else because the Iranian regime is based on Velayat-el-faqih rule, the Governance of jurist. The council of the experts must elect the leader – the jurist and the Islamic Republic of Iran is not a royal regime that the son successes his father.
